So hopped on a friends boat for a tuna hunt Saturday. We left Falmouth around 4:30 with lines in around 6. We hit most of the spots Capt Mike suggested. Didn’t see or catch any tunas, but did see a ton of whales and dolphins and the weather and company was great.

Went out for the first trip of 2017 in the Whaler. Mike, a friend and me for a little evening cruise after splashing the boat for the season.
Fishing off the North West area of Peddocks just out of Hull Gut, caught 5 fish between us, the largest was 27.
Good start to the season.

Yesterday, Mike Claridge and I stumbled on heaven as we found ourselves alone behind Bumpkin with a mass of schoolies. We must have caught well into double digits, up to about an hour before high tide.
Here I am on ferry and the birds are going crazy off sunken ledge.
